Privacy Policy for Mini Volume
Mini Volume (“the App”) is a local utility that helps you control device volume using on-screen controls, a notification, Quick Settings tiles, and an optional floating ball.
Data collection
Mini Volume does not collect, store, share, or transmit personal data. The App does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, accounts, or cloud services.
Permissions
- Modify audio settings — to change media, ring, alarm, call, and system volume on your device.
- Notifications — to show persistent volume controls in the notification shade.
- Display over other apps (optional) — only if you enable the assistive ball.
- Do Not Disturb access (optional) — only if you enable silent/ringer modes that require it.
- Foreground service — to keep notification / ball controls available while you use other apps.
- Boot completed — to restore controls after reboot if you left them enabled.
All processing happens on your device.
Local preferences
The App may save simple on-device preferences (for example, whether controls were enabled). These stay on your phone and are never uploaded.
Children’s privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect children’s data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above will be revised.
